FAQ
Agent Readiness Score (ARS)
Understand how the ARS is calculated, what it measures, and how to improve it.
What is the Agent Readiness Score (ARS)?
The Agent Readiness Score (ARS) is a composite metric that evaluates three key dimensions: WebMCP tool support, structured data (JSON-LD schema markup), and semantic HTML quality. A higher score means AI agents can more effectively navigate, understand, and interact with your website.
How is my score calculated?
Your ARS is broken into three weighted pillars: WebMCP support (does your site expose tools via the navigator.modelContext API?), Structured Data (do you have JSON-LD schema markup like FAQPage, Article, or Product?), and Semantic HTML (do you use proper landmarks, headings, and ARIA attributes?). Each pillar contributes to your final score out of 100.
How can I improve my ARS score?
The scan report includes a detailed breakdown of exactly what is missing or incomplete on your site. Common improvements include implementing WebMCP tools via the navigator.modelContext API, adding JSON-LD schema markup for your content types, and using semantic HTML elements like <header>, <main>, <nav>, and <article> with proper ARIA labels.
How often should I re-scan my site?
We recommend re-scanning after any significant changes to your site's structure, content, or markup — and at a minimum once a month. As AI agent standards evolve, new score criteria may be introduced, so keeping your score current ensures your site stays optimized.
